98 - 3.0 CL - Recommendations

Hey guys I am new to this forum. I just picked up a 98 3.0CL it has 120k but I got a good deal.

I was wondering what things I should be looking at maintenance wise. I am aware I need to change the timing belt and the water pump, but anything else that could be recommended?

Thanks

Just the usual, oil changes, car washes, spare transmissions.

Yeah, seems like anything that usually does go out on CLs, well, usually does.

All depends on how well it was treated, and how it was maintained, get a hayden transmission oil cooler to try to prolong the life of the tranny, it's the bearings that go in the trayhn and they wreak havoc. Otherwise, they're great cars, we all beat the piss out of ours

Most auto parts sell them, they're mostly universal, mine came with option to mount on over 100 cars, including jeeps and shit, they are rather universal, and the install's easy as hell

I dunno, maybe it's harder to find, I found them at advanced auto and pep boys after I bought mine. It's called an auto transmission oil cooler. Try canadian tire, that's the only car parts store I know in canadia otherwise go to a tranny shop.
