Has anyone ever tried to rig up the power window to "auto" up? Currently, the window will go down by itself if you pull back on the button far enough. It does not have the ability to roll up by itself. I would love to rig it to go by itself in both directions. Any thoughts?

 

I BELIEVE SOMEONE TRIED THIS AND COULD NOT GET IT TO WORK, DO A SEARCH.

 

I rented a TL not too long ago and noticed that it allowed the windows to be powered up automatically with the touch of the window switch. Really NICE!

Might want to start with the TL window switch/motor by checking on the TL groups message board .

 

Let us know how it works out if you do it, that would be a nice convienience to have for us lazy people

What about at least making the passenger window go down by itself? Has this been done?

 

I've got both my windows to 1-touch both up and down from the driverside switch but you've gotta buy a window module (Model# 430T) from DEI electronics. I've got it interfaced with one of their alarms so that when i arm it both windows roll up automatically. U can also roll both down with the alarm as well. Kinda a pain to install tho but it was well worth the convenince IMO. I'm sure you can hook it up to the factory alarm to have the windows roll up automatically but I'd suggest just upgrading the whole thing.
