'97 2.2 Driver Side Interior Door-Handle

Whats up everyone,

Just the other day, my driver side door started acting funny. When i pull the handle to open the door, it doesn't spring back into place, it just stays in the open position. I can put it back in place, but its like there's no resistance like there used to be. The door still opens fine, however I'm a little concerned that it will one day get stuck open and not move the door mechanism anymore. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Bill

Take the door panel off and see if the spring came loose

Thanks for the quick reply fellas.

Ever since I had the car, the screw that holds the black plastic housing on hasn't been screwed in all the, causing the cap that covers teh screw to be slightly off. I'm wondering if someone messed around with it before.

On a side note, is the driver side door supposed to have LED's? My brother-in-law's 98 Accord has two LED's, however mine has none.

Peace,
Bill

They don't have LED's in them, the only one on my car that does is the heated mirror switch
