94 Acoord Short Shifter Convertion...
I have a 97 CL 2.2 and I'm trying to convert the short shifter from a 94 Honda Accord but I need the exact steps on what to do to give to my mechanic so he can do them and install it...I dare not try it myself and screw it up so he just asked me to get whatever detailed instructions I can so that it makes it easier for him since this will be the first one he'll be doing as well...Thx for the input

know what? there was a short shifter?? Well there isn't for 1rst gen CL's but a 94 accord has same thing but you need to modify it just a bit...Not big project just a bit...

I think just the adapter...around 45 bucks for a basic one right...whats the difference, maybe that will help me out...It's really late tonight and I'm just not thinking right now clearly...

adadpter should definitely fit, we have the same shifter and tranny as the accord!
adapter keeps your stock shift lever. an entire short shifter is a shorter lever with a shorter throw
