90,000 mile tune-up - plugs, wires, oil, fluids...

many questions to be asked here...

1. What spark plugs give best performance. (denso iridium/ NGK iridium, etc.)

2. What spark plugs wires go well with whatever spark plugs?

3. What fluids are crucial and usually overlooked when doing a tune-up? (tranny fluid, coolant, etc.)

4. Im starting to mod my car. I have a drk green car, what color should i dress my engine up in? (red, blue, etc.)

5. My battery needs replacing because of my soon-to-be HID project, and my sound system that just kills most other systems. Is there a difference between Optima Marine batteries or Other Marine Batteries???

6. What else do i need to do at a 90,000 mile tune-up???

Thanks guys

#4: My car is also dark green (Cypress Green Pearl). I began to use blue to dress up my engine, but I think I'm going with OEM body color and chrome/silver.

6. Dont forget timing belt change.

Plan on saving some bucks for your 90k maintenance. Probably anywhere between 700-1000 bucks i think. At least that is what i was quoted at my honda shop in omaha.

That seems pretty ridiculous to pay that price. It should be easy to replace all that stuff... Man, I need to open my own stealership....

Re: 90,000 mile tune-up - plugs, wires, oil, fluids...

1 & 2 From various thread that I've read on the v6accord boards, the Denso Iridium plugs are better. Some of them like Nology wires but a couple have had horror stories with them. Vitek Performance Wires are another set of wires that quite a few of them have. They are affordable and good quality from what I read.

4. I wast trying to imagine your dark green car in my head with another color and I think the red might look nice. If you want to play it safer you can go with gold or silver.
