685 Chromed Primax Rims
Ok Dear Abby's
My son just bought a new set of Chrome 685 Primax rims 17's. Any suggestions on a good set of tires. I have never ran anything but Goodyear or Firestone and he said I was to old school.

Actually, the Firestone SZ50EP is one of the best tires you can buy. It's got the same compound as the Bridgestone S-02PP, but for a lower price.
The Nitto 555's & Yoko Paradas have the "import tuner" looks but aren't very sticky. If he's on a budget and wants something sticky, get Kumho 712's. If he can spend a little more, get Bridgestone RE730's or the SZ50EP's. Judging from the wheels that the tires are going on, he probably won't have enough money for the AVS Sports or S-03's.![](http://www.acura-cl.com/ubb/wink.gif)
Of course, all of the above only applies if he never sees snow, or if he has a set of separate rims with snow tires on them.

'97 2.2CL (removed intake silencer, K&N panel filter, interior neon lights & other ricey mods)

A little extra information.
He will be storing the chrome rims in the winter and re-installing the stock rims and tires. So the chrome will only be used April thru October.
