6 disc changer and Cable
Anyone have any pics of the OEM 6 disc changer and cable that connects the changer to the stock stereo?
Anyone have a stock OEM cable for the above for sale?
Thanks all!

Here's a pic of the CD changer, but I don't have a pic of the cord. What do you need to know?

Thanks for the picture Dustbuster4.
I have just bought a changer/cable from DirtyHarryFSU and was wondering how many beers I am gonna need to run the cable from the changer to the radio.
DirtyHarryFSU gave me good directions on how he removed the cable, it is apprently a hemorrhoid job to do.
Anyone else ever install/remove a stock changer cord?

Running the cable is pretty simple.
Just mount the changer where you want it in the trunk. Connect the cord, and run it down behind the driver's side of the rear seat. Then run it under the plastic door sill, up under the dash and connect it to your head unit. It plugs right in.
You'll need to remove your head unit in order to plug in the cord.
To get to the back of the stock deck, the only tool you will need is a philips screw driver. Start by taking all your stuff out of the center console, including the cd holder at the bottom. Under that there will be 2 screws that need to be removed. Take the cupholder out by pulling up on it, and you will find one screw by itself at an angle... remove that too. With those screws out, the armrest part of the console will be loose... with the e-brake on (to make it easier), slide the console up and out of the way.
Pull out the ash tray, there will be one screw behind there that needs to be taken out. Then where the arm rest part of the console meets the shifter console there should be 2 screws holding the wood trim down... remove them.
Now the wood trim should be free (if you have a manual tranny, remove the shift knob by pulling down on the chrome trim on the boot, then unscrew the shift knob with your hand), pull up on the trim and it should pop out... then there are a couple harnesses to be unplugged from the back of the switches and clock.
With the trim out of the way, a look under the stereo and pocket will reveal the 2 screws that hold it in, remove them and the stereo will come out. (copied from SumkidwithaCL)
Good Luck.
BTW: Check eBay for the cord. Look for key words "alpine changer 8 pin".
