3rd Gen CL?

I'm curious what is in the works for future CL's? If the Accord v6 is putting out 240hp for 2003. What's Acura gonna do if their current 2003 CL & TL Type-S are at 260. Wait for 2004 to release something new? Or let their standard 3.2 TL and CL get over overpowered by Accords.

Thats a good point. Not only that but I think the Honda's designs also take the cake. The CL-X model design should have been the 2nd gen CL. Just because Acura is the luxurious side to Honda doesnt mean it has to look like that. Luxurious shouldnt mean bland and bulky looking. Sorry don't hate me ya, its just my opinion.

I think Acura will shock the world with a 3rd generation CL. Face it, most cars that are coming out today 2003 cant even compare to a 97 3.0 CL.
What up 2FamoUs. Did you get the Mirror yet? I get my car back today wit my 3rd tranny.

This is my 3rd tranny people. Pray for me. I got 8 months on my warranty.

What Up Decimate. Good luck with ur tranny. 3rd time's a charm ( I hope). Is it working good so far?

They were tryna charge me $100-150 for a used mirror. So I got a brand new for $137 at the Curry Acura dealer. Plus it came with a warranty. $150? They didnt know I did my homework.

Sorry to disagree, but the CL-X should have been what it was designed to be ... the 3rd gen Legend Coupe. I intentionally did not get a late model 2nd gen 6-speed because of what was being passed off as the next Coupe from ACURA. Only problem was that when the talk went to the hype for the 1st gen CL's, the talk was less of "the" concept vehicle, but "styling cues" from the concept ... which meant (reading between the lines) a modified Honda Accord. By that time there weren't any 6 speeds around, so my '90 coupe was traded in for a '98 M3.

I remember when the 1st gen Legends were being advertised - there was a 3/4 profile of the car with the words "Genuine Mercedes Replacement Part" on the billboard. After seeing what Acura had done, I envisioned the same billboard, only with the words reading "Genuine Honda Accord Upgrade". Don't take this as a flame against any 1st gen CL'ers ... but our cars are not/NOT a replacement for the original Legends.

Thanks for posting the picture. I'd almost forgotten how fucking sweet this car looked.
