3.0 cat

what should it cost to replace, i'm getting a real bad rattle noise and it sounds like the cat. I"m gonna make sure nothing is loose but if it's the cat i'm gonna be pissed. Does this shit have an extended warranty?

Well mine is doing that cause of the header. Do you have a header? people told me its the heat shield and that so can just bend it away from where it is touching.

make sure the bolts are tight, cause it could of came loose. not sure how much it would cost though it the cat was messed up. My uncle charged my friend like 100 bucks for his cat but that was on a 98 accord. so u might be looking around that price?

I know our stock piping was 2.25. But what was the inlet? Was that also 2.25?

My exhaust is all butchered. I'm 2.5 from the cat to the resonator where I have a 2.25 resonator then 2.5 from that to the 2.25 inlet on my exhaust

I know, and for some reason it seems to be illegal to sell at dismantling or junk yards???? They won't sell me a stock cat, only aftermarket ones. The dealership seems to be the only place to get one . Pretty gay, that's why everytime someone totals their 3.0 CL, I try to buy their cat, just in cse I would ever need one, or in case someone else does. See if that kid out in North Carolina will get under his car to unscrew 6 bolts for you. I've tried buying it from him, but he just wants to sell his car whole.......(he flipped his 3.0 CL)....

You guys remember who I'm talkin about right....justchillin was trying to buy his whole interior.

I think gutting out your cat is the most expensive "do it yourself" mod ever. Just get a pipe with a flange on each side to replace your cat if you wanna go straight pipe. I remember i wanted to gut my cat, i'm so glad i never did.

I've thought about just doing a test pipe (straight pipe) but need to smog this year.
