sup guys...

don't know how to start this new thread (little excited)..anyways..

It was around 10:45 pm and I was on HWY 58 with my little sister and grandma. I wasn't paying attention behind me.. so a 240SX (don't know what year..95 or higher) got on my left side and started revvin'.. as soon as the CRV got out of the way the race started and went on for about 15 seconds coz I had to make a turn on our street..

I shifted down to third gear when the race began and @ 6rpm (tach/shift light) I put it back to D4 and during those 15 seconds I was 1 car ahead of him and it stayed that way..

Not sure how I beat him but just like what Vin sais.. winning is winning.. hehehe.. lols.. can't wait for the movie to come out.. oh well this is my second time taking a risk.. my grandma was so nervous but she had no idea what was going on.. she was telling me to slow down.. hehehe...

 

wtf? your grandma was in the car?? hmkay-- and what a shitty 240SX, cuz in reality with modding those things a sooo fucking quick, easily would be able to beat our asses

sup cor.. yeah unfortunately grandma was there.. it was a stupid part of mine to do.. I know how fast the 240 SX are once right mods are done to it.. but the one that I raced only had an aftermarket muffler but I think everything else is stock.. oh well.. next time I race.. I'll make sure grandma is not with me.. good thing nothing happen..

honestly.. I don't intend to race my CL at all but do want some performance (HP gains) for it.. this is my second time to race on the street/highway and I must agree with you that it was really stupid of me to put my grandma and my sister at risk.. for those who love to race please don't do what I just did Friday night..

as much as possible I try to avoid racing but man.. a lot of imports in my area wants to race me everytime they see my ride.. so far.. if I am correct.. about 9 cars have asked to race with me before and i've only attempted two.. first one was with a Saturn and this time a 240 SX.. racing is so tempting.. but not worth it on the street especially if your love ones are with you.. guess I learned something from last night..

my friend 89 240 can smoke my cl all day long but then again he spent almost the same amount of money on his sr20det as i spent on my whole car

 

sup trurays... well like I said the guy didn't have mods except for an exhaust.. or maybe he wasn't pushing it too much.. I know that the 240 SX are faster than ours..

 

Nice win, I agree about the 240sx. After driving my roomates my cl feels like it has no torque at all.

I won't do that again with her or anyone in my car.. by the way.. my 2.2 AUTO has 150,500 miles.. hehehe.. getting an oil change soon.. thanks..
