2001 Accord V6 Vs. 1998 CL 3.0

Whose Faster. Both are basically stock, except the CLs got 17" rims. Both are fully loaded. Also, anyone know which one weighs more?

I drove a v6 accord at the same time I was buying my cl and the cl was faster, thats why I got it. Race him and see what happens.

just race and then let us know. And don't try to shift your auto or you will lose!

they are identical. I have raced a 2001 v6 accord with a 1999 cl 3.0 both stock and they tied like every time. Nobody did better except when someody chirped in 1st a few times. But thats from tires more than the car.

I assume you're talking about the Honda V6 Coupe.

The LX weights about the same as the 3.0CL. The EX weights about 60 to 70 lbs more than the 3.0CL.

I believe it's up to the driver as to who wins!

I've raced a good amount of v6 accords w/ the same mods and have walked them everytime. Except for one that beat me!

I have a video of me racing an accord v6 somewhere and I have intake and so do they and I just start walking away and they even got the jump.

Fill-up your car (gas) and put in a can of B&G injector cleaner before hand.

Well, maybe you can do that a couple of days before but you don't want to race with a full tank of gas. Just ask anybody who goes to the track. Race with a quarter tank.

Dont race when u have a full tank of gas. Also dont race when ur low on gas either....i noticed that the 3.0 run much better when there is at least half a tank of gas....fuel pressure i guess.

Thanks guys, i'll just race him. I Know they are both virtually the same cars, but I just wanted to make sure honda didnt tune something different in the 3 yr difference to make it faster. I needed to make sure because we are talking some serious brag rights here. I do agree with the cl running better with more than a half a tank.
