Thats exactly it. The 3.0 is meant for relaxed cruising with less noise and vibration.

The 4 cylinders are geared for some quick "around town" but definitely lose their edge around 50 mph.

I know because the first car I "had" (I shared with my mother at the time) was an Accord wagon EX with the F22 VTEC and a 5 speed manual. With a higher final drive ratio, it could REALLY scoot up to 50 mph. In fact, I could stand a good chance of cutting off people around town who supposedly had faster cars.

The penalty of course, is poorer fuel economy.

no im 6'1" and bout 240 lbs. i only use the bike to ride on sat nights. but the guy i bought it from did he's only 5'9" maybee 170lbs. he ran a 12.6. at bradenton speed way a few months ago during the nopi nationals. upgrades at the time was header, exhaust, new wet upgrade clutch plates, .10 over wiseco pistons and 5 angle valve job.

and we were going about 40 when we both punched it.

IS have 215hp stock plus his intake 2 or 3hp.
Oh well, victory for CL's.

In my 2.2 I haven't had any problems with Accords..I had an Accord and I feel the CL is putting out more. On paper it should be the same but it feels completely different. As far as hanging with a 3.0 eventually the 3.0 has to pull on a 2.2. My whip is bone stock and felt good till I dropped the chromies on it, I need to add a I/H/E to get what little power it does have back.
