![Question](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
Ok well i've searched and found some info. but i need someone to clarify this question for good.
I have a 98 2.3 CL.
It seem that front brake installation (rotors, pads, etc) for 97 CL's is different than 98-99 CL's. For 97 models, are pressed-on rotors, which installation cost more than 98-99. Is this true?
And also could i use 97 model rotors for my car?
thanks for any help

the rotors would be different. with the 98 they rotors pretty much fall out once you get the caliber off, i'm pretty sure you can do it urself unless you never change your own brake pads before.

thanks guys for your help.
Any recommendation for rotors and pads?
I use my brakes alot now that i commute to NYC (goddamm traffic) so I was thinking of crossed-drilled rotors, any suggested brands besides brembo.
And for pads, i'm thinking of greenstuff.
Please any suggestions will help.

If you need some rotors ROTORA slotted rotors are great rotor. Here is a link to a Groupbuy: https://acurazine.com/forums/sponsored-sales-group-buys-10/rotora-slotted-drilled-slotted-rotors-special-cl-tl-tsx-324531/
On a 97 CL the hub is pressed in over the rotor. So you need to either use a slide hammer to remove the hub or remove the whole front knuckle and have it pressed out.
