2.2 is officially not the slowest car..but its still slow
well tonight i raced my buddy in his 88' 5series bimmer (thats right 88')... and i actually won 
...we were at the lights and i knew he wanted to go cuz he loves racing my car, anways we take off and i get the launch and he spins a bit but i just kept my foot down and he stayed at my quater panel the whole time.. i could of got more of a lead but i shut down cuz of traffic..
i've raced him a couple of times before but i would always spin so he would be in front but i would always start pulling on him...
my other buddy just got a 91' GTI lowered with rims & h/i/e today and him and the other guys (VW lovers) were all like VW owns honda and shit and i was like
and they think that he'll take me so we'll see what happens 
(i'll keep u guys informed)
..oh ya me and the bimmer were both completely stock except i have magnamuff and yellow plug wires

GTI's are quick -_-'' u won't catch it. . . my friend has a GTI and that fuckin turbo makes soo much differences = (
wish our CLs came with at least 180 hp =)

I previously owned a 92 GTI (lowered, exhaust, headers, intake, recaro(corrado) leather and a blown head gasket :o)) ), unfortunately for me it was an 8 valve, it was fun but not quite fast still. But the DOHC I4 2.0L 16v are very quick, even wihout a turbo. the car is very light at 2200lbs

Do you know which engine.. 2.7 or 3.5?
I had a 2.7 and it was a dog, though it was still a fun car to drive.
a 3.5 wouldn't be a bad kill i think, i have a modified 3.5 in a 73 bavaria, it will roast the tires in 2nd gear.

of course the cl isnt the slowest car known to man, but it's still slow.
when i had my automatic f22, i went to the tracks and i beat this 95+ automatic 240 (assuming his car was stock like mine). i felt proud after that.

our cars are pretty decent with a 5sp that is. Run a 2000 maxima and see how it turns out, ( ive beatin one before ) auto of course. what do you guys run in the 1/4 ? before mine went into the shop, i did 15.1 with full bolt on's, properly tuned suspension and a nice flywheel setup. Before my fly wheel even, i was only 4-5 cars back from a friends CL type S with i,h,e up to about 100. I hope to get nitrous but im debating brands right now. with a quality nitrous setup, installed correctly and used correctly, our cars are good for low 14/s ( 75-100 ) shot of course. These f22b1's can do amazing things, parts and aftermarket are just hard to get sometimes ( internals ).

hmm.. well...
after my headers, intake, and exhaust i could barely feel a difference..
all that stuff i have done to my car i can only hit mid 16's still..
