well since there will never be a SC for a 2.2 or 2.3 prob. and plus since it would prob run 4-6k after install. why cant i swap my 2.2 for a 3.0. i dotn want a h22. plus the 3.0 has more torque correct? i never heard of anyone swaping in a j30 its always a h22. the two cls 2.2 and 3.0 are same size and everything so cant i get a j30 thrown in there? i'd do it right through acura if possible. i would think they give at least a year yarrenty on an engine they put in. my friend blew his 6cyl in his explore in a flood and the dealer threw in an 8cyl for a some more cash added to the insurance check.

i think you should be able to do that putting a j30 in a 2.2CL. but i would not go threw the dealer becouse they will charge a shit load of money.

 

my prob is that i dotn know of any reputable shops that i can trust to do this. also a good place to get a j30 engine. provided my car lasts to 2004 when my warrenty is up or maybe 2003 depending upon what kind of job my college education gets me ill be ready to do some major renovatin to my cl. i hate the new cls and want my 1st gen. i would definitely like to have ur car in black. heh.
