1st modification to a 3.0 is.....
What would be the best modification to make to my 97 3.0? As of right now, it is full on stock. I want to put more performance into it, but I have no idea where to start.
I used to have a CRX Si, and loved to zip around in it. I don't imaging the CL will zip like the pocket rocket did, but I am sure there are mods that can bring it closer.
So, what would be a good introductory modification to the car?

Clears, CAI, and the best bang for $$$$ would be a new suspension!
If i had to do it over again I'd drop my shit before anything else.
headers for the 3.0 is a rip off, not sure if it's worth it.

Looks wise, the clear corners are the way to go. They make a huge difference in your cars looks. Performance wise I would do intake first, then cat back exhaust. Headers are a waste of money. $1100 for a few horsepower isnt worth it to me.

Sounds like a CAI is in order. It also sounds like (from searching around) that the Ingen seems to be the best fit for a '97 3.0 CL. Now the hunt begins. I found a bunch of no-name CAI online last night, but nothing for an Ingen CAI for the 97 CL. 2 questions.
1. Where should I go to get me some.. (CAI only. Can find women on my own)
2. If a kit does not exist of the CL, would the 97 V-6 Accord kits work?
In addition, does the kit come with instructions? I imagine if it does, it would not come for specific instructions to the 97 CL. Does anyone have some helpful hints on placing the CAI on the CL???
You guys ROCK

Face it...Our cars are slow. For $1300, I'd trade in my CL, get the 18K from it...and use that $1300 to buy a used Supra TT.

Thus why I made that post about "What car would you get..."
Now I just gotta get over my phobia about buying used cars.
