1st impression of aem v2

well it looks bad ass in gunmetal grey, but i dont like how it doesnt extend into the bumper. ill take aem's word for it i guess that this will net better gains over my v1 cai. at least changing the filter will be easier now. since the tube is shorter i already expect better low end like a short ram. i wonder if a heat shield would help? i have to drive my car around b4 i change out the v1. i wonder which one ill keep? im skeptical now. my v1 is a true cai which = better high end, but the v2 is short ram so better low end. will the dual size piping make the difference like aem claims? they better not dissapoint me!

heres the pic

i emailed a shop near my house. i may take it to get dynoed to find out whats really going on. i would greatly appreciate donations from ppl who want to know the truth about v1 and v2 performance. i will prob pick up a heat shield to to see if that helps any. i figure 3 dyno runs will be $50-75 so i dont know if i can even afford it yet. think of it this way. u could hook me up with $2-5 and if there is no real diff ull save over $100 by not buying the v2 or just piece of mind that the v2 is actually better on the f22 or f23.
