horseshit...

the air doesn't spend enough time in the actual manifold to heat up any more then it came in (maybe 1 degree if your lucky). SOmeone chime in, but I believe the CFM is way to high for this.

only way possible for this thing to work is if the manifold gets soooo hot.....like 300 deg. ambient temp. then perhaps the seals could absorb the heat and get it down about 35-40 deg. but those claims are crap. our engines would have to make 500 HP to see a 1% increase in power at 5HP. And I agree with suXor, the air doesnt spend enough time in the manifold to heat up that fast. I know that heat trasnfer from solid to air is not to quick, and if the air spends more than 1/1,000 of a second in the manifold then something is wrong......

Perhaps this is like one of those things that wuld be cool to have just to say that you got it and you could waste your money putting it on......like dual mufflers.

Scalbert made some very good points in that last thread. I don't think it'll do much good at all while cruising. It'll prob keep the manifold temps cooler while sitting idle, but that's about it.
