someone around my way has a 1st gen 2.3 with a turbo H22 swap.

 

well the accord v6 is pointless because the 3.0 CL comes withthe same motor.....the crv (b20) is also pointless.. it is smaller the the f22 & f23 has less power and less torque...
the only one that really make sence is the h22 into a 2.2 or 2.3...
it would cost too much to put an h22 into a 3.0

to answer your question..YES i have an h22 turbo charged in my cl 2.3 ....check out my WWW at the bottum of my post

hey, the last thing ima do is bash a boy from tampa...but playa...we do need to do some work on the inside now....its fast enough...and its low enough.....so keep it up man!

 

yea dawg i am getting to that....i will be redoing the interior with two tone leather & the center console and stuff will be done in carbon fiber....but right now i am just trying to get my car performing the way i want it...i can only do 1 thing at a time....
if i had a job i could probably do more than 1 thing at a time but for now....gotta do what is priority ...to me that's the motor

 

the interior could use some work - the middle dash part (silver) looks funny b/c you can see indintations from where the hazard button is/was and such, but damn if i'm gonna complain about a turbo h22 cl and everything else looks dope. i'd give all my momo shit and crap for h22 turbo - bro's doing it right - make it fast and then do what the fuck you want

I actually like D98's interior. His dash is pimp, and so is the stering wheel. D98- is your center counsole rapped in white leather?? Whatever it is it looks good. I like his lude seats way way better than ours. (the shape/style anyway) once they are wrapped they will be way nicer than our boxy seats!

BTW-how do you like those slipstreams? I'm getting the circuit 8s

I assume the reason the seats look the way they do is lighting. They seem to stick out a lot more because they are brighter. I'm sure it looks far iller in person. But damn, that is one excellent cl.

seriously man, i say fuck the looks first. i'd go with safety. i'd get race seats and a roll cage. and of course some four point harnesses. you'll need some brakes too. you're really really fast. so make sure you can stop just as fast and in case anything happens (i pray that nothing will), that you'll be in one peice. drive safe man.

i lost my license, but i wanna get another cl as soon as i get it back. but i wanna get one with a lot of miles on it and do a h22 swap. how much does the engine and installation cost?

i was thinking about buying other cars but i liked the CL to much. the only problem is it wasnt fast enough and mine was auto. so i wanna get a 5speed and put in a h22 to solve those problems.

also, how long does it take a shop to do a swap? i was thinking about getting the car a couple months before i get my license so the swaps ready by the time i have my license

i dont wanna get it any earlier or else ill spend every penny i got modding it and that wouldnt be good. any price numbers would be a help. thanks

MistaE13a-- the motors can run anywhere from 1200 up to 3500 ... it all depends on where you get it where year it is what model all that stuff...the swap should take no longer than a week (mine was done in 2 days)

hey d98, can ur machanic do h22a swap along with a 5 spd conversion? how much would that be around. Houston shops charge around 6000 for everything including the motor. I think it way to steep. they said some wouldnt even wanna mess with the 5 spd conversion cuz its a pain. let me know so maybe if i plan a trip to florida, ill get it done. Holla!..
