We met up down in Fredrick, MD so I could buy 1genCL's speaker box and afterward we decided to go cruise the strip and see who was faster. There were cars here and there so it was hard for both of us to line up and go. We didnt really get to race off the start, but we got to go when we were both moving. We raced on the highway and got up to about 100mph a couple of times, but nothing really exciting. Overall I was a little bit faster, but he put up a good fight- for a manual 2.2

i'm talking about the last last run.... where i was ahead by two cars before your tranny downshifted............ then i had to be a dumbass and miss third gear....... doh!

 

i'll take my 5sp over any 200 hp standard sorry you 3.0 peeps but if its not standard its no good in my book ... 5sp just makes the drivin experience that much better

I heard that. Yea you did get a good jump on me on that last run, Ill admit that. Your car suprised me for a 2.2.

 

I haven't had a 2.2/2.3 beat me yet! :P

And by the way, the auto sure comes in handy on the Beltway rush hour. I can remember shifting about a million times on the way home in my CRX. Now .... just put it in gear and go.

Don't get me wrong, If the 3.0 had a 5-speed/6-speed, I'd get it.

But reality dictates that I have an auto. That's fine with me!!!
