Check out my WWW for pics of the pro-kit on STOCK shocks. I wasn't happy at all. Some other guys had after market struts that made the pro-kits sit another .5-.7 inch lower.

I should just spend some extra on a camber+sportline drop. prokit looks good i agree, but i want to slam it onto the rims!

get the teins. No matter what you'll need new shocks, it'll only be an extra 100$ or so to get the teins.

OK i have new struts en route. They are GR-2s (i know they are cheeper but for the price i would just keep replacing them lol). How much do tein's generally run? Also do they ride better or worse than say sportlines? Assuming i get a camber kit and trim up the wheel well to keep the control arm from knocking.

I got my Tein's for $820 shipped overnight. Sportlines and shocks will run about $600 + shipping. So yeah, about another $200. Tein's ride so sweet. The ride is like stock. Sometimes I forget that I'm slammed because the ride is so pure. On Tein's website, it says they drop you about 2.75" R and 2.5" F. Total bullshit. I had mine on the lowest setting and I was about 4.5" dropped all around. My front lip was about a half a cigarette pack off the ground. Right now I'm about 2.75"-3" dropped. Probably the best mod I did for the amount of money.

Well i only have the rear ones ordered, but because they need replaced awfully badly. Also now i can just use those if i ever want to take my tiens off. *be warned stupid question en route* Looking at tiens website they appear as those they are springs + shocks all in one purchase. Is that right? If i buy those thats all i need to buy? (besides camber kit and all that, i just mean to get them on and functional)

yea, that's what a REAL coilover setup is, it's a spring shock combination. Those sleeve coilovers that people advertise as coilovers aren't real coilvoers but a cheap alternative.

That is all you need to buy, along w/ a camber kit.

I've gone through about 8 different setups on my CL, if only the teins were at that price last time I switched i'd be ALL over them

It depends on which Tein's you get. Tein sells many different types of coilovers. I have the Tein SS. They are 16 way adjustable. They also sell springs. But if you get the coilovers, yeah it's the springs and shocks. You don't need anything else. All other parts come from the top mount of the stock strut.

yea, get the SS's for the 94-97. A buddy of mine is doing a group buy on this site. Search the blackmarket. I think it's like 850 shipped to you.

Right but it's going to to say 90-97 accord. Don't let the 94-97 throw you off. They're all the same.

I have a set of Eibach pro-kits if you're interested. They have about 4,000 miles on them and they're practically brand new. With pro-kits, you won't need a camber kit.

Hey Dennis, why weren't you happy with the Pro-Kit and the stock shocks? Was it because it wasn't low enough for you or was it because the ride sucked? I'm only looking for an 1-1.25" drop, and I don't want much harsher of a ride than stock.

I was really happy with the ride on pro-kits. It just wasn't low enough. I have 35 series tires, so you can imagine the gap that I still had. If you're looking for not more that 1.5" pro-kits are the way to go.

Did I mention that I have some for sale?

i'm w/ dennis, the pro kit ride is unreal, I absolutely loved it, the car handled better then it does w/ the sportlines on the 3.0 for sure. I just wish it was lower
