18 Inch Wheels/Tires

Hey Guys,

So am working this summer to save up around $1500-2k to buy 18 inch rims and tires. As stated above my budget is 1500-2000 bucks. What places do you all reccomend for buying them? I am in South Florida and there are tons of places down there, but I heard you can find great deals on the web.

Do you think I should get the 18 or are 17's better. Furthermore, what changes do I need to make to get 18s to fit on the car. The tires/suspension is totally stock right now. BTW the car is a 97 2.2CL.

Thanks once again for all the help,

Evan

Do 18s fit right on or do I need to change some suspension stuff? Any rubbing with 18s?

I know this question has been asked a million times, but here is 1 mil and 1. What are the bolt patterns on the 97 2.2? Sorry I know I should search, but I am lazy today.

Much Love,
Evan

I agree, I only bought my rims there because they were the only place in the US that had them. They were shipped really fast and had a crazy ammount of plastic wrapped around them and they shipped in a box. The only thing is they tried to tell me to get 205's to make sure they fit. I got 215's but wish I spent a little more for 225's. They came all ready to put on with lugs and everything.

Don't worry about rubbing with 18's, my tires are no where close to rubbing.

I say 19's. I have 18's and i wish i went bigger. Wheelmax has good deals, i bought on ebay and got my own tires around here. Got the exact setup i wanted, and a good price.
Bolt pattern 4x114 or universal 4 lugs
i have 225/40/18 nitto 555 zr's with no rubbing on the prokit drop.

Thanks for all the help. I think I will look for some 18s with tires for around the $1200ish mark. Then save up the rest of my money for a drop. That should have the ride looking sweet. Now I just need to start working so I can have the $$ in like 8 weeks.

Take Care,
Evan
