I'm looking for ideas too!!!

I want 18's as well. I have a black 98 2.3cl and I want silver rims. Not chrome though. Most likely a 5, 6, or 7 star pattern. If you want used rims, you should check my old post. Someone here wanted to sell me rims, but they weren't to my taste. Maybe you'll like them?

Ross... How much are you selling the wheels and tires for, and what kind of tires are they, % tred left on them. Thanx. BTW, how much would 2 w-type skirts and rear skirt cost painted?

the tires are kumho ecsta supra 712's. 205/40/17. they are practically brand new, about 5000 miles on the rears, about 1500 on the front (they were recently replaced after my camber problem blew out my tires.

the niche shocks, chrome, retail for about $2500, the tires around $380. total would be $2880. i will let them go for a measly $1000 plus shipping.

email us for parts and prices, i like to keep that off the forums.

18s

I just put silver 18's with a polished lip on my red cl. It's a slotted five star and I think it looks pretty sweet. I'll send you a pic if you want.

One of the most important things I found out while I was shopping around was getting a specific offset so the tires won't rub. Mine have an offset of 40.

the orca's are brand new wheels! nobody has them! i dont care what brand they are, the model is what matters to me. besides, there are a dozen companies out there that now make the same wheel. ie, the konig monsoon design has been copied by 3 companies already.

i will check them out. i liked your last suggestion about the tails so i think we have similar tastes.

btw, i would not go with chrome if i was building a tuner, but i am not, i would not even attempt to do that to a cl, its a waste of time.

i understand your approaches however do not agree w/ them. We have our ways. The CL could be a tuner, but it'd just take to much time and effort. This car has alot of potential. It handles great w/ the right tweeks. I've just hit my limit w/ it and want to start chasing porsches instead of running from the competition around

i agree and disagree about the potential of our car. it has potential because it is a well built v6. but potential is ultimately defined by what you can put into the engine to make it better, which in turn is determined by what is available for it. since there are only minor bolt on mods available for the engine, it really doesnt have as much potential as many other cars. i think that will change very soon when comptech releases the sc.

When i get some cash; I'm going for White Racing Hart D5000's in 18x7.5 trim. It'd look tyte on my black CL but i think it'd look great on your red one as well. If u want try silver; but please no chrome on red. Personally i think thats a no no.
