ok im a pedal freak ...but even so,is it possible to do 13 mpg on a 3.0 ? and where is the egr valve located at,i wanted to clean that up

 

For starters your gonna have arthritis in your ankle, EGR is the small pop can lookin thin right next to the inlet to the radiator fluid It's got a plug in the top of it I took all that out and made plates for all the wholes. Polished up some stainless for the plates I can make ya some plates if ya like pretty cheap to.

Sorta, Not really it's plummed up into the intake if you pull your intake manifold off you will see a hole full of nasty brown black soot. scew driver and a air compressor.

 

There was a recall on the EGR if you have any check engine lights from it. Try some fuel injection cleaner, change your spark plugs, wire, should help you. Has the car had a tune up lately? If not that's probly what it needs

 

I used to get around that mileage. Of course my 3.0 lived at redline until the day I sold it when the tranny started slipping before it was warmed up

 

Damn... used to get that with my 3.0 supercharged and untuned on the HBP before it blew up

Try changing out the main O2 sensor, and seafoam your car first

 

the previous owner was a b*ch lol i can tell she was towing sht behind the poor CL (which from the receipts i have, costed her alot of money,alternator,starter,tranny,egr valve,etc,all rebuilt/new) but im gonna first calm down and see how much i can get with my new driving.

 

You can tow w/ the CL.

Again, alternator, starter, tranny, EGR are all things that are known to be problems with CLs.

 

How do you redline an automatic

And to DS, you can tow with your CL it says so in the owner's manual

 

ya but that poor thing lol ,how the fuk can you have a heart to 'tow' with your CL

 

Eh, maybe I worded what I said weird, but I meant that with my driving, the tranny rarely shifted below redline.
