1/4 time on this setup?

what would be a viable time with stock j30a1 internals, CT supercharger ran with the HBP at 10 psi, i/h/e and a tune? (street tires)

and please dont tell me go post in av6 ,theres literally no one there, plus im sure 1st gen cl'er's would be intrested in this information.

i think someone threw around the idea of a j30 making 250whp and running 13's if thats any help at all. we need more then just that.. hp/tq numbers, an weight reduction etc.

so you think mid to high 13's is possible ? , sirsig had a crazy list of parts in his project ,including the j32a2 swap and the 6mt swap but correct me if im wrong he was only running approx a 13.3?

there is also a review of the supercharged 6th gen accord v6 on the internet , the review puts stock engine with the supercharger at 14.7 to the quarter mile(im guessing this was with the low boost pulley at 6 psi,or less?)

any information would be greatly appreciated thanks

well, granting your tranny holds up , id say you could hit late 13's early 14's.. running a CT supercharger at 10psi im thinking will get you more then 250 whp.. but thats just my guess

hehehe.... i got 25 k on my current tranny but im planning to do the dr evil swap if i go supercharged

mofo shiftin like a bich ,poor instalation...........

but that makes sense ,since i think for every 1 psi u gain 10whp ..if im not mistaken..so 8-10 psi = hopefully around 80 whp

i dont know if its that uniform, but yeah something like that. i wish CT made a supercharger for the 2.3..so much simpler then a turbo set up and imo more reliable.

many people at the other forum have run that setup, the dr evil is key

I don't think you'll get 10 PSI out of the CT though

sup blackack you think with running 7-8 boost a 14 flat is possible?

if its not then its really not worth the money put into the CT supercharger, might as well buy a faster car right

You might as well buy a faster car anyway, unless you're doing some hardcore weight reduction

I don't think cocoa or ethenol got below 14 running big shots of nitrous on a 3.0

shoot , i dont know i might be able to overhual the engine and use the j32a2 heads+intake and TB, bore the walls and put in some low cp pistons. but thats going to be hard work, that should put mid 13's with the ct supercharger.

weight reduction kills the purpose: owning a unique car.

I would not superchange a f23 where for the gains are smaller than a turbo for the same price.

very true

u wouldnt wanna put 8 psi on a 2.3 , ull be doing 15 flat at best if not more for 4 g's

how much boost on ur mr2?

ct superchargers arent designed for high boost.

i never ran the 1/4 theres no tracks in CT (that i knew about at the time) for it, i did a couple of auto-x events. thats what i mainly built it for, it was just a street legal go kart haha

Putting a j32 head on is too much bs for what it's worth

There was a 3.0 CL up in NY with a SC back in the day that ran a 14.4 with shitty traction and basic bolts ons. I don't know his name.

Then there's fastvtec (cant spell his name correctly cause i dont remember how it was spelt), he ran a 13.3 with basic bolt ons and a 125 shot.

Without knowing their exact user names, searching for their old threads would make it harder for me or anyone. But if you really want to, I'm sure you can find them with time.

hmmm NOS has never crossed my mind, will doing a 125 shot destroy my engine over a short period of time? possibly blow a headgasket?, hence it already has 140 k on it.

There is a dude on here with a ZEX kit on his 3.0. It's the stress on the tranny is what you should be concerned about. I know you know all about that bro.

This was my set up before the turbo journey. Head work, Port and polish no valve work intake manifold and lower tubes ported to paper thin throttle body ported paper thin underdrive crank pulley full 3" exhaust headers of course. 125 shot nitrous methenol injection and running on E-85.. Tire combination 15" wheels up front with street slicks. I also had a convertor from leval 10, it flashed aroun 2700 tgo 2900depending on how far I stalled it up. 12.90 at 112 if I remember this was 2 or 3 years ago... It was a zex wet kit.
