I'd say I'm hangin around the mid to high 7's in 0-60. I have a 4cyl though. Stock is like 8.6 but that is cause you have to shift to 3rd at 57mph. After some mods.... I can get to 60 in 2nd... but that involves having the needle tap the red .

-If you ask me if I have that mod... my reply would be probably yes.

I don't believe the G-tech, time slips are best measurement, and maybe if you had a radar. I don't see how that thing can be accurate, and neither do most people.

However time slips don't measure 0-60, but than again 1/4's a better judge of speed, either that or 0-100. Some cars do 0-60 in 1st gear, I'm sure if someone wanted to make a 0-60 car, it'd have a might agressive 1st gear. But what's the fun of driving a car in 1st gear or to make 2 shifts?

What is the stock time in the 3.0. I heard it was like 7.7 or something like that.

I want to bring it down to 7.0, what can i do with out adding a turbo or juice.

from my witnessing GTECH's are about 2-3 tenths off on the 1/4 mile compared to the track..i've seen them run at the track w/ these results...however the MPH are off by about 3-7mph. It is also VERY consistent and makes for a great tuning product.

I just put on a triple decker spoiler actually and now its creating much downforce on the rear.

Wait..are CL's FWD? or RWD? Cause if they're FWD do you think i can move the spoiler to the front of my car? Would that help at all? It's just duct taped on so it shouldnt be hard to move.

Thanks guysss!!

oops, i forgot the red font...

I'm gonna strap a piece of plywood to the hood to increase downforce and horses, but it's gotta be that low density carbon plywood. With flowmaster stickers and racing stripes.

Why doesnt my 3.0 Auto have a clutch? I start out in 1, than go to 2, then D3, then D4 but theres no neutral. I cant do any burn outs or sweet stuff. So instead I'm putting the car in neutral, revving a lot than going to D4 and get a little burnout. How can I do better burnouts?

You're joking right? The tranny can't handle that kind of abuse. You can power brake it, but don't hold it for too long. Once the otrque convertor heats up, that's where it starts to damage the tranny.

Yeah, that was a complete joke. My other post was even more of a joke. I can see where you can get confused cause I actually know an idiot that gear drops like that on an automatic. He wonders why he blew two tranny's.

Not like I'd want to ruin my new tires, but I heard if you wanted to do a burn out in an auto you have to bunch both break and gas at the same time than let off a little bit on the break but like even the pressure so you dont take off. I dont know, theres a couple different ways but i havent cared enough to look into it.

I know a kid who thinks that whenever he's about to park his car about 20 feet from the spot shifts into neutral. Should I warn him not too so he doesn't screw up his tranny since he does it constantly.

Has anyone heard of the Honda Surprise?

Why would this screw up the transmission?
