~those with MSD~

O those with an MSD box, where did you mount it? Im puting mine in today and I need some ideas where to mount it! thanks

Firewall and fender well seem to be popular locations. Also, if you have a system, the MSD box causes big time noise, so you might want to test it before you permanently affix it.

Can you tell a difference with the msd ignition? What power gains did you get?

I don't have one on my CL, but I used to run them on various Chevy/Ford motors. The primary reason to run them on the older pushrod motors was because the stock ignition systems were weak. On our cars, don't expect much of a difference, if any, unless you have a highly modded motor. Just my 2 cents.

mofo, for about the same amount of cash, you can get underdrive pulleys which add power you can actually feel. Some have had problems with the crank pulley though. Anyone that has pulleys want to comment?
