$$$ How much can it cost? $$$

So Monday was the last day my car was in immaculate state, no scratches, dents, yadda yadda yadda,, am sure there are some of you who went through semi same stories. Anyways, Tuesday morning getting ready to go and pick a few things at the store for the BBQ, AHHHHHH, first thing I notice is left rear fender slightly dented behind the fueal tank, obviously someone was backing out of the driveway or used it to make a u-turn and backed right into my car. AH So I get in, thinking no biggie, no scratch can be popped out, easy fix. Then I notice after I started my car that my hood seems as if it is open, so I get out and even bigger AH @#$%^ :angryfire . Whoever was parked infront of me, backed up so profoundly into me, that if they could they probably would back into my roof, the whole hood around the grill is, has multiple dents, grill itself is literally gone, bumper sagged on driver's side and has scratches and "spiderweb" cracks. Also my radiator cracked. Already replaced it yesterday.

Now my question is. I need to find a good body place here in Hollywood, and am wondering what can be the paintjob/body qoutes?

what am I looking at low to high?? SO I can get myself ready for the heart attack. I know what the parts will costs me, it's the labor and paint that scares me.

Thanks!

dude its gonna cost a pretty penny thats for sure. Have you tried finding who did it. Because i know alot of stores nowadays have cameras in there parking lots if its somewhat of a big complex. Make the bastard who did it pay for it y waste your own money plus what is insurance for???

Yea, you need to try and play detective before you just throw out your cash to get it fixed. Check for cameras, and watch the p. lot for a week or two to see if a car with the same type of damage comes back. For all you know its the guy next door.
GOOD LUCK

Wow, SHIT on a STICK. You should definately check out the lot for cars that are damaged in that way. You know they will show up sooner or later. As for the cost, well you could do it cheaply with salvage parts and MACO, or you could go to one of those BAD ASS pimp my ride shops there in SOCAL and spend a small fortune making that car the hottest CL in town. But that is up to you and your wallet to decide.

Good luck, I sure hope you catch the SOB. I've given up on the dingless car. Mine has been dinged enough times, and now my wife's Accord got rubbed a month ago. No dent, but a bit of paint loss. FUCKERS need to learn to drive or get jacked out of their shit and beat down thoroughly.

thanks for all the info and words of comfort. The second guy who left the small dent in the back came around, so that's cool, but still keeping the eyes peeled for whoever crashed my front, it had to be a big SUV or truck, there is no way a car could make that kind of damage.

I was considering insurance , still am, but one of my friends who used to work for an insurance company, said tehy might bump up my rate, so not sure. well will see when I get the estimate.

I will post pix later

Also, you would have to find a way to lump it into one accident or hit and run. I was honest with my ins company and told them i had 2 different hit and runs and they made me pay 2 deductables

took some pix, and here they are, yeah I know it doesn't look that bad (in the pix) but in reality that's over $1200 in damages and with paint and labor).

Hopefully will have it all fixed in the next 2 weeks.
