Sat in an ADX
Sat in an ADX
Took my RDX for service today and got to see the ADX in person. Looks OK.
I found that seat height adjustment is quite limited compared to the RDX, so I couldn't get to where I could sit as upright. Also, with the seat all the way back, I found it quite tight (I'm only 5'10", not huge). Even with the seat all the way back, it felt like the steering, despite being flat bottomed, was obstructing my entry and exit. Very surprising that for a car that is only a couple of inches shorter than the RDX in exterior dimensions, the seating room is so much less.
(With the RDX, I can't have the seat all the way back because then I'm stretching to depress the brake fully.)

Your impression is completely valid. Coming from the RDX—a more spacious vehicle with a higher seating position and greater seat travel—the switch to the ADX can feel cramped, even frustrating, despite the similar exterior dimensions. This highlights how essential a real-world test drive is to determine whether a vehicle truly fits your body type and intended use.
