Yah thanks for the link for those HIDs.. saw them in another thread..Probably going to go with those and get my plastic lenses replaced with some glass ones.. I dont think the glass replacements will be that much.. I don't know yet if I want to use a switch with mine.. I think I just want them always to be on when I have my parking lights on.. we will c.. you guys were cracking me up in my other thread btw lol

I dunno if that will be possible since both of those mods take a long time to get done!! lol I think it would be more like 2 days worth of work to get both done.. so, I think I will be trying to do my fogs first before I help anyone.. dont want to jack up anyone elses bumper lol .. btw did you get the ebay fogs or oem accord fogs? and did you ever install those switchbacks in? I want to see them in real life!

I really don't like the look of wdp painted visors.. ive seen one car here with them, and I didn't like how it looked.. it made it look like there was too much going on there ... but i like the KBP one a little bit more since the car is darker.. and you dont see the lines as much.. but if they like it let them rock it! everyone has their own opinion on things..

rj ,yes i got my fogs off ebay,and yes i still have both set of bulbs sittin in my garage, the black crome hallogen, and the led amber ones...dont think they are swithleds tho.....just waitin to meet up with u so we can put those babies to work!!! lol

 

eh, it's not really a secret, I was j/k. We got some new 07-08 lower grill pieces and some new aluminum trim pieces that go with them and we are gonna cut and fit them along with our new fogs. Should be interesting, I'll let you know how they come out and if you like em I'll post up link so you can buy some.
It may be a few weeks before we get to them though....

 

oh ok.. dangit I want to see what switchbacks look like in real life.. yah we can definitely swap out the bulbs.. doesnt take that long.

So I never posted pics of my Amber LED corner lamps.. so here they are!
Can't really see them in pics, but they are much more amber then the side markers now.. so now I have to figure out how to make the side markers more amber. Sucks that they are Factory LEDs in there.. so it may be hard for me to do.. dangit..



I also never noticed that my license plate bulbs went out til my friend told me last week.. So I went ahead and ordered some new bulbs.. but not just any bulbs! I purchased some cathods!! I did exactly what they said to do in this thread and they came out BRIGHT (https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-2004-2008-93/white-cold-cathode-license-plate-how-3g-garage-g-070-a-605201/).. haven't seen it at night yet, but I will take pics tonight! But dang this is one of my favorite mods now, since it cost me less than $10.00! Looks just like an Lexus IS now!

Yah thanks! I guess I am making up for loss time.. I stopped modding the car for about 6 months... the first 3 months I went crazy, then had to stop because of a new job.. Now I have the money and time to start modding again! So excited!

 

Accord fogs are in!! FINALLY!!

ok, so I started this mod last week and finally had time to finish it last night. Man, this was a pain in the butt!! for all of you guys in orlando... don't know if I want to help do this again!! But, I can come and give some guidance.. just let me know when.. and sorry I didnt call anyone but I started this last thursday and I know that you all probably had to work.. so I decided to take on this project on my own.. On to the pics!!

Here is the final outcome (I kinda messed up on the passenger side because I cut to much of my bumper out and it allows the fog to sit to far back, but it isn't too noticeable I hope) Also, before anyone asks, here is a link to the actual accord fogs I bought off of ebay: Link









I purchased some cheap Yellow lights for the fogs on ebay for 11.00 shipped lol. I honestly do not care to pay that much for bulbs (I might get HIDs later). Link to the bulbs I bought






My night time look is completed!


And since I have never seen anyone post pics of the cutouts I thought I would.. I may make a template to help others install their fogs.. Maybe I wll make the template next time I have to take off my bumper. Let me know if you guys are interested in this! (maybe I will remove my bumper when I clear my headlights).. I didn't take the bumper off and I only pulled off my aspec lip according to how someone else on here did it.. I followed this as a guide: https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-2004-2008-93/g-031-diy-accord-foglight-mod-without-removing-spec-bumper-717204/ ... I wired mine directly to the fog harness. I cut the wire going to the fog light bulb harness and connected it to the accord fog light wires. I plan on doing something special with the original fogs later on. Maybe DRL mod?

I cut from the top and the bottom. I also cut a SMALL slit on the right side so that the corner of the fog light housing could slip in a little. I also trimmed the fog light housing a little bit in the upper right hand corner so that it could fit into the slit I cut. This way it is being held in by the slit. I DID NOT use silver bracket that came with it. I Only used the bottom hole in the housing to screw onto the bumper. Between the grill, this screw, and the aspec lip, the slit I made to catch the upper outter most corner, this fog is not going anywhere lol..




And a shot of the grill (I had to cut a little bit more to get it to fit properly after these pics, but by following this you should be close to what you need):


Notice how far the cut is from the top brcket and how close the cut is to the bottom bracket.

Here is a shot of how close I had to cut to the bottom of the grill. I had to cut like 1mm more to get it to sit really flush:
