Hey all,

I picked up an 07 MDX a couple weeks back and noticed it didn't have the auto dim day/night mirror. So I picked one of those up too.

Come to find out, my windshield has a wedge mount for rear view mirrors, and the OEM mirror requires a camlock mount. Photos below show what I mean. Mirror on right is the new OEM with the camlock.

Does anyone know of a camlock to wedge adapter - OR - know where I can pick up a camlock mount?

I tried 2 dealerships parts departments and they couldn't help. I also tried a windshield shop who said to check with the dealer.

Try going to a auto glass shop. They should be able to get the old mount off or have an idea what to do.

 

Thanks GEB. I tried that route as well as many others. At this point, I'm going to order an after market wedge mount mirror and hard wire it into the mirror harness in the overhead liner.
