I don't have them on the MDX but I did have a set on my Oddy and have a set on our Trailblazer SS. Although these go in the window channel, you do use double sided tape to secure it. I hardly doubt I could have mounted them incorrectly but if you do wind up the window to quick you will crack them. I literally lost one off the Oddy when I rolled the window down on the freeway. Another was unusable because it cracked. The set on the TBSS has some cracks but is holding up so far.
I can't really say I'd recommend them but these are the only ones that I know of that are available. I haven't seen any bad feedback either so it's a judgement call on your end.

I had WEATHERTECH IN-CHANNEL and the installation was disappointing. First scratched the window trim near the side mirror and broke the very thin lining. Second, Less than a month, the driver side rear deflector fell off twice when my passenger opened the windows and broke the thin lining that you slip in to the window channel. (Weathertech replace it but I was the one who paid the return shipping) The rear passenger side was hanging. (put double sided tape) It looks nice though..I had WEATHERTECH in channel in my other cars that I bought few years ago but the quality of the material is not the same anymore. The previous one is more durable and will not break the lining easily. cost cutting maybe??
