What are the chances that...

2007 TL Type-S rims will fit on a 2004 MDX?

Chances are pretty good. The bolt patterns are the same, 5-4.5, the only thing is that the type-s wheels may have a higher offset. I would be willing to bet they will fit with out any problems.

Or 5x114.3. Yeah, offset might be different, but will def fit.

Specs...

Type-S
Diameter: 17"
Rim Width: 8"
Offset: 45mm

Factory 2004 MDX
Diameter: 17"
Rim Width: 6.5"
Offset: 45mm

Given the same 45mm offset from the hub (yet 1.5" difference in width), theoretically the inner part of the wheel/tire will be 0.75" closer to the inner components of the vehicle (shock/strut, brakes, etc.).

That being said, I do know that the base 17" TL wheel is also 17 x 8" and there are MDXs around with those wheels...so I would say, yes, they should fit.
