Rim Width: 8"
Offset: 45mm
Factory 2004 MDX
Diameter: 17"
Rim Width: 6.5"
Offset: 45mm
Given the same 45mm offset from the hub (yet 1.5" difference in width), theoretically the inner part of the wheel/tire will be 0.75" closer to the inner components of the vehicle (shock/strut, brakes, etc.).
That being said, I do know that the base 17" TL wheel is also 17 x 8" and there are MDXs around with those wheels...so I would say, yes, they should fit.
