Waxing
I would. Waxing helps set the tone for caring for the car, and it puts a layer of protection on the paint to help protect it from road debris, the sun, and bird droppings.

yes, put was/sealant on it. protect the car. the crap the dealer uses to prep your car for delivery doesn't do a damn thing, and the detail depts generally aren't good.
bond with your new ride and give her a good wash, then put your favorite sealant or wax on.
it was one of the first things i did to my TL ...i think day 2 of ownership along with a roof rack.

Totally agree. A synthetic sealant like Klasse works best when on a completely virgin paint surface, no road grime, wax, polish residue, etc. It needs a completely "clean" surface to bond properly.
This would be one of the best times to use a sealant. I sealed my MDX the week we got it with Klasse and now I only refresh the sealant with Sonus Acrylic Glanz once a month and completely reapply Klasse once a year. Sealants are amazing if you maintain them.
