VSA problems on 04 MDX

I've had my 04 MDX for about a year now and I've been having problems with the VSA engaging when I make sharp turns or U-turns. Really annoying to have to pull over on the side of the road and turn the MDX off to reset. Took it to the dealer and the mechanic took it for a test ride and came up with nothing. I own a 04 TSX, and noticed in another club that the 06 TSX VSA sensors go out and cost 1K to replace. Has anyone else with a 04 MDX experience this problem? I've had this happen over a dozen times now!

Hmm, I personally don't have experience with this (knock on wood), but I've known guys that turn off the VSA each time they enter the vehicle. I'm assuming this is in warmer climates.

Did the dealer mechanic check the VSA sensor? The sensor would be my first guess.

Other than the sensor, a few guesses:
  • Have you checked to see where the VSA button and/or module reside in the fuse box? Perhaps a faulty or blown fuse.
  • Are you accidentally hitting the VSA button on/off while driving?
  • Faulty wiring going to/from the VSA button? Any moisture under there?
