Anyone try this kit on their MDX? I just picked up a '13 MDX and want to make the DRL stand out.

 

the problem with many of the DRL LED lights is the car will give it's warning that the DRL are out. resistors need to be used to avoid th error code from popping up on the dash. i have not run LED lighting to my DRL (as much as i would like to), b/c of this error. i've read other people's experiences with LEDs for the DRL, they either get the error, or it runs fine for a few months (not specific to this kit), then an error code pops up.

there is one member i know of that has LED DRL lights (plug n play bulbs, with no resistors) and has not had the error code. i think there is a thread around here on it but it could be over on mdxers.

 

I think that member was using the 18 LED bulb from V-led, which isn't available anymore. Maybe I'll be the guinea pig on this one.
I wonder if the Lexus crowd gets the same errors? As the setup I posted seems to be tailored just for them.

 

^ I'm running the vleds LED DRL that had being discontinued since Sept. 2012, with no issues so far. Not sure why the stop making them, I guess you'll have to give the ones you reference a shot, GL.
