Just bought a 2006 Acura MDX with 133,000 miles and have noticed a pulsing at the steering wheel when in a turn, harder pulse with harder turn. Feels like it's trying to straighten the steering wheel in pulses. Happens both directions. My thoughts are something in the rack & pinon, any one been here before?

 

Mine did that, until I did a powersteering flush...

I have an 06 TSX and it did the same thing and a power steering flush took care of it. I now do the power steering at 7 year and/or 100,000 miles for my other vehicles.

 

Is the p/s flush a procedure in the repair manual, I just ordered the cd for this model along with some hood struts.

 

Good info on the flush, it seems to have fixed the pulsing steering wheel. Thanks for the help.
