static on FM radio

static on FM radio
i have a 2007 acura mdx and i am on my 4th unit through my insurance for my radio. The XM radio works but the am/fm radio is solid static. they have sent me 4 units and now tell me to go to acura so they can try to diagnose the problem. any ideas of what it could be before i go into acura?
