Solution for drl error with led bulbs.
Solution for drl error with led bulbs.
Drl during the day. Color output is a solid daylight white. Phone camera doesn't capture the true Kelvin
For anyone who wanted to switch out their ugly yellow drl and fog bulbs with some hid/led ones but ended up with the dreaded "check drl error", here's the solution. I bought some led hid bulbs on ebay for $20 a pair, these bulbs have their own cooling fans and error correcting ballast. I installed them today and they're pretty damn bright with no check drl error.. The color is 6000k but looks more like 4500k to 5000k during the day but 5000k to 6000k at night with no yellow color present what so ever

Drl at night
Fog light during the day, even though it looks like they match the headlights, there's no yellow color in them what so ever, for some reason my phone camera doesn't capture the output correctly during the day. The color is a solid daylight white during the day
Here's the link for both bulbs.

Repost Link, seller ID or item #?
Thats cool you found reasonably priced LEDs for DRLs and fogs. I bought some and get the error code every time. I couldn’t get to your link though. Can you repost with the item number, seller ID or try to link again? Thanks!
