I went to Gary in Glendale Acura, I dealt with him online only, and he was able to beat all the deals and give me a good price on a 2010 blk tech pkg mdx. No hassle ... when i go to the dealer, no secret charge, very straight forward, i paid what i was quote for the OTD price. The price was couple hundreds under MSRP as OTD price, just to give you a reference price.

Just stay away from Mission Viejo.

I'd recommend checking out yelp.com. That's my go to place for checking dealer reviews.

I agree on doing all negotiations online if possible. I did this for my wife's car. Such a painfree (and quick) process.

Acura of Riverside (East Corona)

I shopped all around So Cal online via e-mail to get the best price. You can see my thread and timing here.

New 2011 w/ Tech Package was $43077. Very helpful staff and no hassle pricing.

If you're in or around Orange County, here are my recommendations:

Tustin Acura - Kalolo, Internet/Fleet Sales. Like other's said, you can deal with him directly via email, then go in and pick up your car. Very easy.

Cerritos Acura - Straightforward, honest dealer with large inventory.

:thumbsdow Weir Canyon Acura - snakes. I live up the hill from this dealership and wouldn't buy a candy bar from these guys. I've had numerous dealings in the past with Weir Canyon and they've pulled some stunts that shocked me even for a dealership. AVOID.

Appreciate the insights.

FYI - SoCal pricing currently on Tech/Ent package '11 MDX is $45k even.
I'll update you on my dealer selection after purchase next week.

Purchased '11 MDX Tech/Ent packages, $45k + taxes, etc.
Hoehn Acura, good dealer, were pleasant and fair. Only one that had the color/combo we wanted.

Vs our '07 MDX same packages, the '11 is quieter and drives smoother. Steering is a bit overboosted, but it does help make the SUV feel lighter, and easier to turn at low speeds.
Paddle shifters, and the shift program in general, still lags the urgency and accuracy of BMW, Merc, Porsche. Engine power still nothing to write home about.
Headrests are nicer, as is the dimming mirror.
I like the exterior look (in dark color) vs the '07 - sportier.
Never had a single issue on the '07 for 70,000 miles. Given that experience, I bypassed the Audi, BMW and Porsche SUV's which when comp equipped were between $16k-24k higher.
Hope Acura brings start/stop tech, keyless entry, side shades, and much improved fuel efficiency next time.

Best SUV at the price!

Bali/taupe. Looks fantastic and more luxuroius than our prior greyish '07.
Hard to find esp with Ent/Tech packages.
Adding the silver vs satin rails next week to complete the classy look, ala Audi/Merc.
New audio system is fantastic in terms of use with iphone and music cd's (rips right to harddrive automatically). Nav with instant local weather very helpful. Nothing you cant get from the smart phones these days, but nice to have.
Rear view camera pic quality not as sharp for some reason. Hmm.
