Service code question!
Service code question!
Hi All!
New member to this site but have been a long time lurker. We have had a 2004 MDX for 13 years, and just purchased a 2007 MDX in February. We are big fans. I am pretty good with fixing issues as long as I can find solutions online (for example, I was able to remove and replace the 2004 window motor a year a two ago on my own - with minimal injury.
). I am in a pickle with this new one that came up today. So, we left our (still new to us) 2007 on the side of a neighbor's road on Friday night, overnight, and sure enough, we got side-swiped and a nice dent on the driver's side door and driver's side back seat door. Looks very cosmetic to me (still very disappointing of course). Shame on us and lesson learned.
Coincidentally (or maybe not), today we had the engine light on, with the D flashing. I did the trick of the paperclip jumper in the OBD and got the code - but I can't seem to find any information about it. I figured I would ask here and maybe you all could help.
The code is P1950 PA 12.
2007 Acura MDX with Navi and Entertainment
196K miles
I am one of those people who HATE spending money on things I can do myself so I am hoping I can crack this code and then decide if this is a DYI fix or better handled at a mechanic. This car has almost 200k on it so we obviously know issues come up - any help would be much appreciated!
Any ideas?
Danielle
