save picture as wallpaper?

I read it somewhere that you guys can transfer picture from flash drive to mdx's hard drive through usb port. Is it possible to do? I've tried it but did not seem to work. Thank you for responding to this thread in advance

Yes, if it's a 10, 11 or 12. Do you have a manual?

ok I'm glad to hear that it's possible to do. I probably missed it when looking through the manual. I'll try it again tonight, thanks db22

It's fairly useless because I always push the knob on startup to get menus. If you don't then you can get the wallpaper but otherwise they are trapped out in drive.

Can be done and it's pretty easy. Some things to keep in mind:

You'll want to exactly match the MDX nav screen's resolution to ensure good image quality (scaling is awful).

You'll need whatever images you want to transfer to the MDX in the root of the USB device you're transporting the images on. This is because the image transfer function cannot traverse folders.

I've done this on my car and it looks quite nice on the occasion where I don't activate the nav system.
