The only pain in the butt is the cargo cover doesn't fit in the MDX if the 3rd row is up. Other than that, I get plenty of use (and added security) with the cargo cover.

I f you buy the one from weathertech, you can choose either for the cargo area only, or another model bigger, covering the 3rd row as well. That's the one I ordered.

I was thinking the OP was referring to the cargo cover with the bar and the floppy cover you pull out to hid the rear hatch area when the 3rd row is up? I have the OEM tri-fold cargo mat; which, I can size to fit with or without 3rd row up/down.

I just purchased a 2011 and would love the the cargo cover. I'll have to check out the prices.

Rear floor cover is a good add, but I've never come across a worse design for a rear cargo cover (tonneau) than my 2013 MDX.

It is always in the way and not nearly as easy as it has been in my previous vehicles. Knowing what I know now, I'd skip the rear cargo cover and just get dark tint on the back windows.
