Purchased 2011 MDX Technology

Hello all, my wife and I were checking out SUVs yesterday, but had no intentions in buying a SUV since we are planning on selling my wifes G35 coupe. Well long story short, the acura dealer that we went to offered a decent trade in offer deal, added in a dealer installed entertainment option, and threw in the certified pre-owned warranty (7/100k) to the MDX. Ended up making the purchase. Picking up the car tomorrow.

Here is the pic.

Best of luck on the MDX.. Sometimes the best deals come when you're not even trying! Enjoy

Thanks

Looks like we might have to take the car back into service and see what is going on. I was driving back home from the dealership last night and noticed a vibration at the rear passenger side when I press the brakes. I think its the rotors going bad.

The car is certified, but what questions me is the fact how it made it past the 150 point inspection before they labeled it a certified pre owned vehicle.

Going to make a call today after work to talk to salesman, and see where it goes.

IMO that "150 point inspection" is BS and pencil whipped but good thing it is cert.

Congrats on the MDX...It is, in my opinion, the nicest SUV on the market. I hope all will work out OK but my question is, didn't you notice the vibration during the test drive?

Keep us posted on how the dealer handles the problem and hope will get resolved quickly so you can go back to enjoying this fine vehicle

No didnt noticed it while we took it out on a test drive. It only happens if its on the highway at high speeds, not in city driving.

Congrats. CPO is typically pushed thru quickly. It's best benefit is that it covers your ass when stuff comes up. I am confident the dealer will get your vibration issue sorted out.
