Picked up the MDX on Friday

hey,

i picked the 2002 MDX up on friday!!

Great car! i drove it home from LA back to San Diego and it was about 120miles.. the trip computer said i was averaging 27.6miles per gallon. THATS GREAT!!

Got the timing belt and water pump done for $440.. and new bridgestones from discount tires for only $500 because my friend works there...

ill post up pictures when i have enough posts to get off probation.

thanks for all the help from members here that added their input!

Congrats, man!

Whenever I reset the trip computer while driving on the highway, I average about the same MPG. But when it's all city, it goes down to 14.0 MPG! Doesn't bother me though(it's a 4000lb vehicle, afterall!). I'm enjoying my nice smooth ride!

i was maintaining at 73 on cruise control!

the trip computer started at 22.1mpg when i filled her up before i took off...

it went all the way up 27.6mpg.. i dont know how accurate the trip computer is but if that's accurate, this car gets better highway gas mileage than my S2000.. haha

thanks Jsilas..

i love this color.. i wonder why they discontinued it for the "sage" color.. i can't stand sage for some reason..

Looks great! My wife and I are looking at an 06 with 80k, just doing my research & looking over the recent purchases. We considered an 03 with only 31k on it! Havent seen that one in person but need to make it out.
