Opinions: Possible MDX Customizations

What do you guys think of this look?
I'm thinking of going for an intimidating black look.
1. Paint grill black (except for Acura logo and wings)
2. Black gloss 20" + rims
3. Red brake calipers
4. Paint door handles black?
5. Paint gray under carriage black?
I would like to go for 22's but I don't want to affect the ride and handling. I'm a total noob at this.
I say do it!
If done right it can give the car the look you were lookin for.
22s will fit and in some cases there isn't much ride difference, though that the depends solely on the tires you get (profile/width). I actually like black wheels with a chrome/polish look.

That looks pretty dope actually!! If you've got the time and the resources, i say go for it!!
The wheels look nice in that chop, but i HIGHLY doubt it will look like that in real life without a solid drop. Do they even make suspension kits for the mdx??
A front lip would also set it off, but i guess for that, you really have to go custom!

Here is a pic of an mdx with 22's. Of course I want all black--running boards, door handles, grill except for logo, and hopefully I can get that grey under side painted black. And red calipers.
I'll go to a body shop and ask about price and see if I can swing it.
Looks good, but slammed suspension means no "suspension". You'll have maybe an 1" of suspension travel, hitting the bumper stops and chipping your teeth in the process. I really wanted to do that with my Integra...looks so cool. But I really like the stock ride. Just personal opinion, but I've read a lot of regrets doing that. The younger you are, the less you're concerned about a smooth ride from what I've read. I'm too old I guess.

the less expensive way to see you you like the all black look...plastidip.
as far as the rims...whatever floats your boat. 22's kind of defeat the purpose of the SUV status (ie off road use or snow use). personally, i'm not that big of fan of the black out look, again it's your car, so it really only matters what you think about it.
weren't you disappointed that the 09 you just got didn't come with the chrome trim?? now you want to black everything out?

i think i said this in your other thread...i'm not that big of a fan of the chrome trim on the newer MDXs, but a lot of cars have it now.
i think with the right rims the MDX can look like that jeep...the mean look. the MDX already has a muscular look.
i'd say start with plastidip before forking over the money to paint parts permanently to make sure you want to keep the car looking that way. OR vinyl wrap is another inexpensive way to change the look without it being permanent.
classy...not ghetto is kind of what you want to go for.
the look you want can be achieved...with the right amount of modding.
