For those with the 07 + MDX, are you planning to get new tires? If so, what tires do you have currently and what tires do you plan to get.
Currently, I have the Sumitomo HTR Sport H/P on my 07 MDX base. It looks nice but, I got a bad set. It wasnt bad in the beginning but after 10,000 + miles, tires roar a bit when driving on hwy speeds. A little vibrations and vehicle drives off a little to the left. Tread is good, tires rotated every 5,000 miles, tire pressure is normal and wheels aligned properly but still no change.
Heres what the Sumitomo looks like:

Size: 255/55R18
Sidewall Style: Blackwall
Serv. Desc: 109HLoad Index 109 = 2271lbs (1030kg) per tire
Speed Rating "H" = 130mph (210kph)
UTQG: Treadwear: 480
Traction: A
Temperature: A
480 A A
Here are two comments from Acura owners about these tires:

I went ahead this morning and ordered some tires on tirerack. Instead of buying some cheap tires, I ordered the Goodyear Assurance CS Fuel Max which is a little on the expensive side. I should get them in by next week.

Sumitomo's are a pretty cheap tire, not quite up to par for a luxury SUV like the MDX. I would put some Michelin Lattitude's on it. Goodyears sometimes have problem with vibrations, so I always stay away from them. That is my .02 .
Advanced
I have Sumitomos on my Honda Prelude and they are terrible in the snow, You should check Yokohamas. Exc. tires.
Backs the Pack
Have 34.5k on the OEM Michelin Latitude's.
Will be needing to replace them relatively soon, so I am contemplating the Pirelli Scorpion Verde All-Seasons. Seem to have good reviews and I know they are OEM at least on the new Touareg. Tire Rack lists them for $225 apiece which is about $40 cheaper per tire than the Michelin's.

Just found this site treadepot.com. Looks cheaper than tirerack but shipping may be higher depending on where you live. Looks like they ship out from Atlanta, GA. They are also offering $25 off on some tire brand.

Yep. Youre right. I should of gone on that route. Plus, their shipping is for free. Originally Posted by BlacknWhite23

Anyways, I just installed the new tires and with nitrogen in them. Tires are way better than my previous Sumitomo tires.

I have the Dunlop SP Sport Signature's on my MDX and they are pretty good tires. I've put 30K on them and they still have more than 1/2 the treadlife left. They stick well and perform well in the wet and dry! The ride is pretty comfy with them however they can be slightly loud on some surfaces.
