Well it looks like we will be pulling the plug here soon and getting us a MDX. We are currently looking at a 07 MDX Tech / Entertainment with 37,660 miles on it with the dealer listing it at $34,900.

What do you think we could try and talk them down to? Also what problems or issues should I look at for the 07's?

My wife and I purchased an 07 Tech w/Ent at the end of June in Boston with 28K miles for $33K.

Seems like a lot of lurkers but not many posters.

 

I would start to negotiate around $30k and see if you can find a happy medium. 'Nit-pick' the $&@! out of the X...check tires, paint imperfections, etc.

 

Seems a little high to me with that much mileage, if it was a Sport then it'd be more justified. I'm sure you can bring it closer to 32.5-33

 

Yeah, it could just be the area I'm in. I've noticed through my 500 mile radius search of my area vehicles with that many miles are at least 36k-38k. This is by far the cheapest that I could find close to me.

 

Sorry for the delayed response - I spend most of my time on the TL side. The list was $35,995 and it was an independent dealer about a mile from Acura of Boston. It's not CPO, but we saved a chunk of change. Below is a link to one they have on their lot now. I understand you are a ways away, but just giving you this as a reference -

few things to look out for:
1. front and rear suspension clunks/makes noise when going over bumps, a TSB was issued for it and they fixed it.
2. Rear view mirror vibrates (accessory auto one), TSB recently to replace the bracket or something
3. Turn the car on, and quickly shut off, speakers make a popping sound (mine does this, still have to get it fixed!)
4. Make sure all the stuff like air-filters/fluid changes, etc. were done. I spent around 200 dollars getting new fluid at 15K and recently for the diff and trans.
