MDX three seemingly unrelated errors

I was just heading to the store , very cold out, when i turned the car out a strange sound came from the instrument panel for a second but i didnt think anything of it.
about a block down the road i lost accelerator function , the check engine light came on and showed 3 errors.
emmission status which seems to be P2101, VSA status , and trailer stability assist.
i pulled off and parked a second and then when i tried again i had accel function back.
check engine light is still on though.

its sub zero temps right now.. wondering if that could have caused this or if i need to start stressing

P2101 - Throttle Body Malfunction. Basically, the throttle body is not working as it was told to. It could be dirty (needs cleaning) or, as you said, condensation from freezing has made it sticky.
Also, warm up the engine properly before driving on those cold days. The throttle body has cooling circuits running through it to keep it warm, but only when the engine is also warm, since they use the same coolant.

Battery

Hi there,
had pretty much same problem. I’m in Canada and winter here is harsh and long.
Brought the car couple of times to get checked and we decide to try to change the battery (also because I notice the car struggled to start in the morning).
After installation of the new battery, never had the problem again.

Hi, got similar warning lights. Vehicle stability control, trailer, etc... CEL code P2101

Conditions are 15F. Cleared code, all warnings gone. Read could be Throttle Body (TB) needs cleaning. Not today! Will monitor for return issue, and do that in the spring.

Anybody do a DIY on the TB. Use brake cleaner? Suggestions? Thanks.

This is a general cleaning of deposits and dirt on the surface of the valve and the surrounding body.
You will see all this when you remove it. Clean both sides. Use a soft brush with long bristles.
You can carefully open the valve with your hands. It will close automatically under the pressure of the spring.
DO NOT SCRATCH or REMOVE the black coating on the sides of the shaft and where the valve and body meet. This is a non-stick coating from the factory.
DO NOT use brake cleaner. There is a special liquid from the CRC company - Throttle Body & Air-Intake Cleaner.
