I have a 2011 MDX tech package and wanted to see if anyone used Homelink program to turn on motion lights around their house?

If you have motion lights, wouldn't you just let motion turn them on like they were designed??
We have motion detection lights above our garage and they turn on as we are pulling into the driveway. We use the Homelink for the garage doors only.

 

Isn't Homelink ONLY for the garage doors? Turning on the lights? Never heard that one before.

 

Homelink is designed for garage doors, but it can be programmed for other devices. Home lighting, small appliances, RF door locks, estate gates, alarm systems - items controlled or activated via RF(radio frequency). With that being said, I don't think it works with motion lights.
